Twitter, a micro blogging service, is not only for posting your micro blogs and checking who are your followers and who are following you and also checking what is happening @people followed by you.

Twitter can be used as Corporate service, as a CRM tool.
This has been proved by CoTweet. CoTweet with tag line How business does Twitter, proved it.

Using CoTweet you can share single twitter account, with multiple users.

CoTweet has simplified how Twitter can be used for business. It also gave directions how Twitter can be used efficiently.

Let us say you have a twitter account for your company and you want to follow or reply to all tweets twitted by your customers. Twitter UI is messy, to follow up flood of messages and also a cumbersome way to determine where the tweet is targeted.
Using CoTweet, you can route tweets placed on your twitter account to multiple users connected to you through CoTweet and also you can monitor their replies.

Earlier corporates using Twitter used to complain, saying their single master Twitter account is shared by people accross the organization and it is difficult to monitor who is doing what and who is on duty.

CoTweet gives you solution for it.

CoTweet is on Beta now, and it says “Manage up to six Twitter accounts through a single CoTweet login. Invite colleagues to join your accounts to work as a team representing your company on the front-line of your Twitter presence. Add your personal Twitter account and manage all your tweeting through one interface and get notified when tweets are sent to your Twitter accounts.”

Twitter became so successfull as it is entering into Collins English Dictionary.

According to The Telegraph, Twitter the noun will be defined as “a website where people can post short messages about their current activities” while the verb’s definition will be “to write short messages on the Twitter website.” Interestingly, the term “tweet” doesn’t appear to be included (as it now is in the AP Stylebook), but Twitterati and Twitterverse will be.

The word Twitterati, means users of Twitter and The word Twitterverse means Twitter and its users.

With 1.8 million users in its lap, Twitter is going to list in Collins Dictionary, in it’s 30th anniversary publication later this year.
